私たちは人材サービス業界を牽引する3社のCEOとして、しかるべきタイミングに、企業や働く人々が安全に業務へ戻ることができるよう力を結集していきます。
COVID-19がもたらす健康危機は、世界各地の人々や経済に前例のない難しい課題をもたらしています。経済の低迷や人々の生活維持に関わる影響を抑えるため、労働市場とそのすべてのステークホルダーは、物理的な距離を保つことやその他の厳格な対策が、職場のあらゆるプロセスに不可欠となるというこの現実、ニューノーマルに素早く適応していかなければいけません。
私たちは、適切なタイミングが訪れた際、働く人々が安全に職場へ戻ることが出来るように、緊急のアクションが必要であると考えています。このタイミングを見極めることが、経済の行方を左右します。適切なタイミングは、国や業界によって異なるとともに、世界全体のパンデミックの波や段階から得られる情報によっても違いがあるでしょう。
職場におけるニューノーマルに備え、雇用主や政府、労働組合、そして学術機関に至るまで、さまざまなステークホルダーのグループが集まり、前例のない協力と調整が必要です。
こうした切迫感を背景に、私たち人材サービス業界におけるアライアンスが形成されました。より広い業界とともに、私たちは世界最大級の民間における雇用主および労働市場の専門家として、ニューノーマルに備えるプロセスに対して重要な貢献をし、人々の安全な職場への復帰、さらにはビジネスと経済の再稼働を促進していきます。2018年単年で、人材サービス業界は多くの国や分野にわたるさまざまな職種に、6,000万人近くの人員を配置しました。経済界が事業を再開するにあたり、私たちにはその専門知識と経験を生かす準備ができています。
このアライアンスによるアクションは、一時的な『物理的距離が推奨される経済』に対して、更新されるべき安全衛生のプロトコルに関するベストプラクティスの共有に基づいています。働く人々や企業に最大限確実な指標を提供するため、国や業界全体でベストプラクティスを共有し、有効なプロトコルを迅速に拡大するための新たな経路を設けることが重要なのです。

Open Letter: Unparalleled collaboration is needed to prepare for the new normal in the workplace in the wake of COVID-19
As the CEOs of three leading HR services companies we are joining forces to enable companies and workers to return to work safely when the time is right.
The COVID-19 health crisis is posing unprecedented challenges to people and economies around the world. To limit the economic downturn and impact on people's ability to earn a living, the labor market and all its stakeholders must quickly adjust to this new reality - a new normal where physical distancing and other strict measures will be integral to all workplace processes for a considerable time to come.
We believe urgent action is needed to be fully prepared to get people safely back to work when the moment is right. Timing this accurately is crucial for the economy. The right timing will differ per country and sector and relies on learnings from the waves and stages of the pandemic across the world.
Unparalleled collaboration and coordination by diverse stakeholder groups, ranging from employers and governments to labor unions and institutes, is needed to prepare for the new normal in the workplace.
Given the sense of urgency, we have formed an HR services industry alliance. Together with the wider industry - as the world's largest private sector employer and labor market expert - we endeavor to make a vital contribution to preparing for the new normal and getting people safely back to work and businesses and economies running again. In 2018 alone the industry placed nearly 60 million workers in jobs across dozens of countries and sectors. We stand ready to bring that expertise and experience to bear as economies re-open for business.
The alliance's actions will be based on sharing best practices on health and safety protocols, which will either need to be set-up or updated for the temporary 'physical distancing economy'. To provide the greatest measure of certainty to workers and businesses, it is critical these practices be shared across industries and countries, and that new channels be created to scale effective protocols at speed.
We are inviting employers, trade unions, and NGOs to collaborate with us. At the same time, we are reaching out to governments to support, stimulate and endorse these efforts. We urge other stakeholders to join forces to enable companies and workers to return to work in a way that is both safe and productive, ensuring security for all.
